To build dynamic public places for living our teams frequently include the design disciplines of Architecture, Landscape Architecture and frequently Transportation planning as well as economics, political strategy, and social theory. Public spaces are frequently subject to the overlapping management responsibilities of multiple public agencies or authorities and the interests of nearby property owners. To address the often competing interests of stakeholders Pardini Design Group has developed the skills to communicate issues clearly and search for common ground among these groups. Pardini Design Group has used our workshop process successfully for over 30 years to build consensus on potentially contentious design issues. Our ability to work with large and small groups in public sessions has led many of our clients to wonder aloud how we were able to find common ground. The resulting agreements have taken many forms and have included negotiations across many overlapping levels of control and responsibility. We believe in a lively mix of public and private interests and land uses to create exciting urban spaces. We support the use of public activities as a stimulus for urban development and mixed uses in public facilities.
