Pardini Design Group has provided award-winning architectural design services to our clients for nearly 30 years. Our work has included projects for clients primarily in the public sector. School Districts, Port Authorities, Transit Agencies, Cities, Counties, the State of Washington, Corps of Engineers, and other agencies of the Federal Government all have selected us to design significant projects for them. We have also worked for private individuals and corporations completing many projects in the housing and health care industries. In recent years we have focused on new methods of project delivery including public/private partnerships and new hybrid delivery methods including “Bridge Design”. Our work in this area is supported by our belief that new methods of product delivery are necessary to regain control of the construction process for our clients to deliver better projects at lower cost and reduce risk levels. Our design process relies heavily on workshop-based consensus building. Working closely with our clients and stakeholders we believe that great design emerges from an open and inclusive process.
LAKEWOOD CITY HALL
The city hall has been a stimulus for the redevelopment of the Lakewood Center Shopping Area. The Facility includes Council and Courts facilities as well as central Permit Counters. The design emerged from extensive public involvement. Materials and forms were selected to appeal to the diverse cultural population of the community

RENTON TRANSIT CENTER Renton, WA
The Craftsman Style Transit Facility for King County Metro has become a significant part of the revitalization of Downtown Renton. The project also has been a stimulus for adjacent residential projects and parking structures. An extensive public involvement process was used to build support for the project and develop design concepts.
MacDonald SMITH LOFTS
Renovated historic warehouse in the Union Station Historic District in Downtown Tacoma. One of the first urban artist loft housing projects in Tacoma. First floor retail is within the University of Washington Tacoma Campus. Residential units are large open floor plans that encourage live/work lifestyle.
FAIRHAVEN TRANSIT CENTER
The Amtrak station was constructed adjacent to an existing brick building in Fairhaven, just south of Bellingham Washington. To increase the amount of net lease-able space a portion of the front of the existing building was excavated to create a sun court for commercial activity. The facility is also a Greyhouse Bus Depot and is within walking distance of the Alaska Ferry Terminal.
JASON LEE MIDDLE SCHOOL
An existing historic middle school was sensitively renovated to provide a modern teaching facility. A student commons/dining facility is the focus of the school. The facility is a magnet school for the arts and includes a “hot shop” for glassworks.
UNION STATION RENOVATION
Renovation of the Union Station in Tacoma for the US Western District Court. The former train station includes courtrooms and judges chambers as well as court offices. The rotunda is retained as the lobby and public space.
